The Friends

Members of the Friends meet on the 2nd weekend of each month, 11am to 3pm, between March and October to carry out general tidying work on the site, including weeding, cleaning and litter picking.

Please feel free to turn up - no equipment or experience needed. Members are typically on site from around 11am each day on the maintenance weekends. Alternatively, get in touch for more info.

Borough Council

The administration and record keeping for the cemetery is currently based at Mintlyn Crematorium, Lynn Road, Bawsey, King’s Lynn PE32 1HB 01553 630533 or mintlyn@west-norfolk.gov.uk.

The Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk is the Burial Authority responsible for the 20 acres of the cemetery.

There is a formal agreement between both the Borough and the Friends of Hardwick Road Cemetery on the role as an amenity society for the public benefit to promote the historic interest of Hardwick Road Cemetery.
